I have Acer Aspire E1-532 (Intel Celeron 2955U Dual-core 1.40 GHz, 2 GB, DDR3L SDRAM). Is the processor/ram upgradable? The laptop sometimes freeze so I am trying to get bigger processor or ram which ever solve the problem.

If the laptop freezes it could indicate that you have a cooling problem. I would suggest bringing it in to the place you bought it from so they can have a look at it to make sure all the fans are working etc. Upgrading it yourself might cause the warranty to lapse. If you're fine with that, you should be able to easily upgrade the RAM through the maintenance slot on the back by unscrewing it there, you have to keep in mind that the laptop only has 1 slot for RAM though, which is a bummer because it can't run in Dual channel mode to make full use of the GPU. So remember to buy 1 RAM module that can go higher than 2GB (those are usually a bit more expensive). The CPU is a different story and could be more difficult/impossible to replace. They usually design the laptops around the CPU and power consumption may be affected by any attempt to upgrade. The old Dell Inspiron laptops used to be able to upgrade the CPU since it took a normal Desktop CPU. One thing you might try to consider to upgrade is the hard drive. SSD gives a huge amount of perforamance even if you don't upgrade RAM and CPU. However, I would recommend sorting out your freezing issue first ;) Could be that the slowness/freezing you're experiencing is a faulty RAM module and/or overheating
